I couldn’t help but connect Sāṃkhya to Panpsychism while reading though. Is that a false association or do modern “Panpsychists” refer to Sāṃkhya among original sources of literature for the idea?
Thank you! 🙂 There's a slight difference. Purusa is pure consciousness while Prakriti is not conscious. Purusa is the witness that observes all creation. In a way, we are all unrealized Purusa and we can find the Self through Yoga. This is where Samkhya and Yoga come together.
