Revival
"Like medicine, philosophy must be ingested at regular intervals, and at prescribed dosages." - The Socrates Express
One of the core tenets of Buddhist metaphysics is impermanence — We live in a momentary world where everything is interdependent, with a particular event becoming the cause for the next one — this being, that appears (अस्मिन् सति इदं भवति).
After publishing seventeen issues last year, I was caught off-guard in uncertainties of life that disrupted my “permanent” plans for the Indian Philosophy newsletter.
While my family was battling cancer, covid, and other chronic diseases, I found myself incapacitated against life’s headwinds. The newsletter came to a screeching halt. However, there was a silver lining. My exposure to philosophical ideas gave me tranquillity in adverse conditions. I realised that philosophy can act as a healer and a guide. Perhaps it was always meant to do so but was reduced to merely an academic discipline.
With this realisation, I would like to revive my writings on Indian philosophy. Unlike its predecessors, the forthcoming issues will also focus on applying philosophy to life along with a concise explanation of concepts. I think it’s more fulfilling to share both the applied and theoretical knowledge. I will keep the issues to less than 1000 words for easy consumption. Though I cannot commit to a publishing schedule yet, I promise that there will not be a prolonged silence in your Inbox.
Let’s have some more sanity and serenity with philosophy.
Looking forward to reading your comments.

Looking forward to it. I agree philosophy is a lost companion on the path of life.
